Strategic Goals:
1. Community Economic Development
- CFSN pursues regional development opportunities.
- CFSN works with the various industry sectors in the region to advance CED opportunities.
- CFSN partners in the provision of service and capacity building to directly improve trades training and post-secondary education; and, works with business in human resource management.
- Communities, and the region as a whole, begin the long-term transition to a post- mountain pine beetle economy.
2. Investment Fund
- All participants in the community have local access to range of capital sources.
3. Business Services
- Provide financial management and business administration skill development information to clients.
- Continue a leadership role in small business development in the region.
4. Marketing and Visibility
- CFSN is the "top of mind" organization for business and economic development support and assistance.
5. Administration & Management
- Regular communications with the CFs in northern BC.
- Staff and Board have the necessary skills and competencies to fulfill their roles effectively.
- Diversified program funding ensures the long term viability of business services to our region.
- Strategic plan development and review process is continual.
