What is a Community Futures?
"Having spent the last year as Chair of Community Futures British Columbia. I am deeply impressed with the commitment of both staff and volunteers in the program. Finding solutions to community challenges, building relationships to support community development and acting as facilitators, community developers and capacit builders, those involved in the Community Futures program are ensuring that rural British Columbia remains a vibrant place to live and a thriving place to do business."
Bob Wright

Community Futures Stuart Nechako
Community Futures Stuart Nechako (CFSN) began operations in 1994 (formerly known as Community Futures Development Corporation of Stuart Nechako) as an independent, non-profit organization.
Through the Community Economic Development process we work closely with communities to explore new means of economic diversification, business development, and project realization.
The Community Futures Business Development
Program provides counselling and workshops in areas such
as business plan development, marketing, bookkeeping and business
finance to help new and existing entrepreneurs
improve their business skills.
In addition, through our Business Loans
Program, we help clients locate both traditional and non-traditional
financing and provide non-monetary assistance to develop new
businesses or improve existing businesses.
